On this page the team behind MathCityMap introduces itself. The idea for MathCityMap was first presented in 2012 by Prof. Dr. Matthias Ludwig. Since then, the team and the project has grown steadily. A multitude of European partners support and accompany the project didactically in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Estonia and Slovakia.

Prof. Dr. Matthias Ludwig
Matthias Ludwig studied mathematics and physics in Würzburg and did research at the PH Weingarten from 2002 to 2011 before accepting a position at the Goethe University in 2011.

Simone Jablonski studied mathematics and English for secondary school teaching and currently works as a research assistant.
Dr. Gregor Milicic
Coordination MaSCE³ project
Gregor Milicic completed his doctoral thesis at the University of Salzburg on the interface between mathematics and the didactics of mathematics and has been working as a research assistant since 2019.
Iwan Gurjanow studied computer science and sports as a teacher and currently works as a research assistant.
